It's really incredible, reading all these ancient threads that are still here from six years ago.

I had no idea these forums were ever here. I was playing back then, immediately after the USA PC release. I was in AbsoluteInvasion, Mitzki's (Razz on these forums) LS. I had no idea about anything - this was my first MMORPG. I miss those days so much. My heart aches so strongly for that time, that naive, innocent time. How fantastic it was.

I have a bunch of truly ancient pictures I'll post up later - I need to get at least a little sleep before work. I'm also gonna post up some names from my friends list to see if any of you remember any of them.

Anyone from that era still hanging around?

Started playing aound April or May 2004. I think that was shortly after PC launch.

Started back in April 2006. I wanted to play FFXI before then, but my parents were wary of the interwebs and then too I'd have been on Dial-up. I didn't actually start playing until I started paying for cable internet for the house.

I started playing in December 2006, but only because this is really the only video game I have ever really played. My husband got me into the game saying I would love it, and I've been playing ever since. :D

Hey Aux!

It was totally by chance that I stumbled upon this thread! My time in XI ended way back upon the release of ToAU; eventually the Singaporean LS I was in at the time moved to another server, or so I heard. Still, it's great to hear from a good friend again after all these years! Have you been playing all this while?

Man, it's been so long... I don't have any of my old screenshots anymore, but seeing your name brings back memories. Those were the days!
